The Google 20% Time
The Google 20% Time is a great idea. It's freedom, fun, and it is a AWESOME way of learning. What the Google 20% Time is, is a way of learning where you spend 20% of your school week, which is a day, and you work on what you want to pursue as your career. This will make you learn things that you need to know rather then what is required. For example, why learn calculus if you are going to be a Writer. You don't need to learn formulas if you don’t need to know them. Schools limit this because we don’t have the freedom to do what we want to do. As you can see, the Google 20% Time idea is a very efficient and creative way of schooling.

Waste Land
When I watched Waste Land I felt sad and happy at the same time. I was sad during the begining because the people who worked at the dump had terrible lives. They had little money to support themselves and their voices weren't heard. While watching the movie I began to feel happy because Vik Muñiz really changed these peoples' lives. They got to participate in art and they would make tons of money too.
Vik helped because he gave the people confidence which led to money, which helped the peoples' voices be heard.
I think it is better to have a honest job instead of a dishonest job because your life could get screwed up very easily if they went the dishonest route. I think if you work hard at your job it doesn't matter what people think, you're doing what you can.
When I watched the film I was amazed at how much garbage is produced daily and how weird people are. People throw away the weirdest things, and the sadest. In the movie the garbage pickers found a dead baby in the trash. I am going to try to recycle and save material for something better because I realized what these people went through.
I think some other areas Vik Muñiz can cover are fast food debris, broken glass, and pollution in the sea.
